Felt I learned quite a bit about the story of English wine and the challenges faced by the vineyards. The tasting was really good, delicious products and generous helpings! Meet Some of Our Wines
Ophelia, Classic Cuvée – a beautiful English sparkling wine with a subtle soft mousse and expression chardonnay and red fruit on the nose. The palate is well-balanced with a stylish finish! It was no surprise that this wine won a Silver Medal at the 2023 IEWA awards!
Twelfth Night - this Sauvignon Blanc/Bacchus blend has been our most popular wine this summer! Earning the first gold medal for the vineyard, this is a fantastic showcase for the varietal characteristics of these 2 grapes. A delicate nose with floral hints of elderflower, grassiness with a touch of stone fruits. Delightful on its own, or pairs well with chicken or fish (and can stand up to a bit of gentle spice too!)
A Rose By Any Other Name - this blend of Pinot Précoce and Dornfelder delivers an English summer in the glass. A gorgeous, pale colour with bright fruit on the nose and a dry finish with fresh acidity. A favourite of the Nichola's - best drunk with friends!
