A distinctively English wine variety which has a fruity, aromatic flavour with hints of elderflower and gooseberry.
Sparkling Bacchus (methode traditionelle)
This bottle-fermented Bacchus is left on the lees for over twelve months. Delightfully upfront fruit and a crisp finish make it ideal for summer drinking.
Blanc de Noir
A stylish methode traditionelle made entirely from pinot noir, crisp and dry with toasty vanilla overtones.
Rosé and Red Wines
Pinot Noir
A lighter style of red wine with soft cherry flavours, aged in American oak in 2005 but the 2006 and 2007 vintages will have been in French oak for up to twelve months before bottling.
Pinot Noir Precoce
Ideally suited to cool climate production, this is a lighter style of red wine with soft black cherry flavours. The Precoce, as its name suggests, is an early ripening clone which can be drunk quite young. Tannins are less dominant and the fruit flavours are typical of a classic Pinot Noir.
King's Retreat
An easy drinking, full-bodied red wine which commemorates the escape of King Charles II from the battle of Worcester along the lane where our vineyard is now situated.
Rosé
Made from the Dornfelder grape, this is a light, refreshing rose, ideal for summer drinking.
